Indian Air Force Invites Applications for 47 Group-C Posts

Indian Air Force (IAF) Recruitment 2015 has invited applicants from eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment to 47 Group-C posts. The Pay Band would be INR 5200 -- 20200, plus Grade Pay of INR 1800 and INR 1900 in mentioned Stations/Units in Central Air Command. IAF Group-C Eligibility Criteria a)

Categories	Age Limit
Unreserved (UN)	18-25 years (as on 30th April 2015)
Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)	Up to 30 years
Other Backward Classes (OBC)	Up to 28 years

  b) For the post of LDC, age limit is 18 -- 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/OBC where the post is reserved. c) The age limit for the vacancy reserved for Ex-servicemen is the total service rendered in Armed Forces plus 3 years shall be relaxed for the purpose of calculation of age limit. (d) Up to 37 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category. (e) Up to 40 years and 42 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively belonging to Physically Handicapped category. IAF Selection Process Applicants who are found eligible would be called for the Written Examination/Interview to be held on 28-06-2015 by the respective AOC/Stn Cdr/CO. Admit cards would be issued by AOC/Stn Cdr/CO. In case of large number of applicants, candidates could be called for interview by the Commanding Officer on the same day or subsequent days. 	Proficiency in Handling of PBX (Private Battery Exchange) from recognized Institution of Central Government.
Cook	Matric pass or equivalent with six months experience in trade

Candidates should type application forms on A-4 size paper as per the application format (check section ‘PROFORMA FOR APPLICATION’) addressing to the Air Officer Commanding/ Station Commander/ Commanding Officer of the place of vacancy at unit address given under the ‘Postal Address’ section above. Along with the application the following documents need to be submitted: (a)   Passport size photograph facing camera, attested by Gazetted Officer duly pasted on application form (b)  Attested copy of date of birth certificate or Matriculation Certificate or School Leaving Certificate (c)  Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH issued by a competent authority (d)  True copy of Employment Exchange registration card, if any (e)  Copy of experience certificate (f)    Self-addressed envelope of size 23 cm X 10 cm bearing INR 25/- postage stamp (g)  Character Certificate issued by Gazetted officer or Principal of the School/College or Village Pradhan Application should reach the addressee on or before 30 Apr 2015.
