Achus Krishnan

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate and currently working as a Central Government employee as a Postal Assistant in the Department of Posts. I joined government service three years ago after clearing the SSC CGL examination.
I appeared for SSC CGL four times and qualified the Mains examination in all four attempts, clearing the final examination twice. I have consistently scored above 95% in both the Prelims and Mains examinations. Before SSC CGL, I also prepared for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, which developed my discipline, analytical thinking and strong conceptual approach to learning.
Mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I genuinely enjoy teaching. Over the years, I have taught and guided countless students informally, although I have not yet had the opportunity to teach on a larger professional platform. I have a natural ability to break down complex concepts into simple, logical and easy-to-understand steps. I focus on making students understand the concept and reasoning rather than simply memorising formulas.
I am also a passionate chess player and have participated from club and regional levels to state-level and international tournaments. Chess has further strengthened my logical thinking, patience, problem-solving ability and strategic approach.
Although I currently have a stable government job, teaching is something I genuinely want to pursue as a long-term career. I am looking for an opportunity where I can use my knowledge and passion for teaching to make a meaningful difference to students. I am not primarily motivated by money; however, a fair and justified salary would allow me to eventually make teaching my full-time profession if the opportunity and environment are right.
I believe my combination of Mechanical Engineering, competitive-exam experience, strong mathematical ability, experience guiding students, analytical thinking and genuine passion for teaching makes me well suited for a Maths teaching role.
