IdentityI started teaching/ tutoring when I was in school. The first student I taught was when I was in my 9th grade itself. I taught her english and social studies. What I absolutely love about teaching is the sharing of knowledge. I strongly believe that teaching is a two-way street. I can not be teaching if I am not learning something simultaneously. One has to retain the curiosity of a learner in order to be a teacher.
I am an amicable person and as far as my teaching style is concerned, it is premised on the grasping ability of the learner. And, because one-size-does-not-fit-all, I believe in tutoring one-on-one when the requirements arise. As an instructor, I am aware that I cannot adopt the same teaching-learning methodologies for everyone alike because clearly, all of us have different learning needs and learning capacity. Therefore, my strength lies in the power of communication.
I have done my bachelor's and master's in english literature from university of delhi. I did my bachelor's of education while teaching simultaneously in a school. While I did not continue my teaching career due to reasons of interest, I did end up teaching at home, often one-to-one and more often, in groups. I had the fortune of preparing for upsc and I continue to be an aspirant.
Currently, I'm working as a content writer for virtual employee pvt ltd, a digital marketing mnc in noida. My job requires me to write content for my clientele but also engage in business communications.
