Artree is a place where art and culture come together. We offer art classes to help students explore their creativity through painting, mixed media, and home décor projects. Our Kathak dance classes, certified by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and Prayag, teach the basics of rhythm, taal, tatkar, and graceful movements. With a focus on learning and tradition, we aim to inspire a love for art and Indian culture in all our students.
This Kathak class, led by a Gandharva-trained teacher, goes beyond standard instruction by focusing on authentic techniques, personalized feedback, and immersive practice. Unlike others, it emphasizes mastering the art of laya and taal, expressing emotions through abhinaya, and nurturing each student’s distinct style. Here, students receive dedicated guidance to develop a profound connection with Kathak, gaining confidence and grace while staying true to classical roots. I’ve been dedicated to Kathak since the age of five, growing up immersed in its rhythms, grace, and storytelling power. My journey has been guided by years of disciplined practice and training, earning my Gandharva certification, and a deep love for this classical art. Kathak has shaped who I am, teaching me resilience, expression, and an appreciation for tradition. Now, I want to share that joy and depth with my students, helping them connect to their own inner rhythm, develop confidence, and find beauty in this transformative dance form. For me, Kathak is more than dance; it's a way of life, and I’m thrilled to pass on that passion.
