I am Jiya and I am an English tutor.
I teach students up to Grade 12 across various boards, including CBSE, ICSE, IB, and IGCSE. I have been teaching for the past 4 years — 2 years in a school setting and 2 years as an online tutor.
I also prepare students for Checkpoint examinations, ensuring they are well-equipped with the required concepts, exam strategies, and confidence to perform their best.
My approach is simple-I focus on building a strong understanding of concepts first, before moving on to exercises. I believe that once the basics are clear, students naturally gain confidence and perform better.
I make my sessions interactive and engaging, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. My goal is not just to teach English, but to help students communicate effectively and think critically
