Background

With over 11 years of experience teaching German, I help students build real, usable fluency — not just exam-ready German. My own command of the language was shaped by working at the Bundesärztekammer (German Medical Association), where German was the sole working language across all communication, documentation, and meetings. That professional immersion gives me a practical, native-level command of German that goes beyond textbooks — including formal, official, and workplace German, which is exactly what most learners eventually need once they're in Germany.

Teaching German isn't just a job for me — it's something I genuinely love. I enjoy breaking down grammar that feels intimidating (cases, word order, Sprachbausteine) into something students can actually apply in conversation, exams, and daily life.

Experience
11+ years of teaching experience, working with students from absolute beginners (A1) through advanced levels (B2/C1).
Professional working experience at the Bundesärztekammer, using German as the primary working language — giving me strong command of formal, official, and professional German in addition to conversational fluency.
Successfully prepared and guided a large number of students through Goethe-Institut / telc B1 and B2 exams, for purposes including:
Moving to Germany (study or work visas)
German citizenship (Einbürgerung) applications
Job and career requirements
Au pair, ausbildung, and university admission requirements
Strong focus on exam strategy — especially Sprachbausteine, Hören, and mündliche Prüfung — alongside genuine conversational fluency, so students are prepared for both the exam and real life in Germany.
