When it comes to learning a language from the beginning; it starts always with learning, pronouncing and recognizing alphabets if you are a independent learner. But it depends on the trainers and their techniques to teach a language. I start teaching with self introduction without touching on the alphabets; i let them feel the language through some activities in a group and gradually I move on to alphabets, pronunciation, listening and then reading. Writing comes later. read less
