Satyajit Devasia

Hello, I am Satyajit Devasia, an experienced English language and test-preparation trainer based in Gandhinagar. With over 25 years of professional experience in training and development, I have worked extensively with students, working professionals, managers, and trainers, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve their academic and career goals.

Before moving fully into training and coaching, I worked as a Director and Head of Department for Training for more than two decades. During this time, I trained managers and trainers for multinational companies, which gave me deep insight into real-world communication, workplace expectations, and global standards of professionalism.

For more than 15 years, I have been actively involved in coaching students for IELTS, PTE, CELPIP, Duolingo English Test,OET, Business Communication, Spoken English, and Personality Development. My experience allows me to understand exam patterns thoroughly and guide students with strategies that are practical, exam-focused, and result-oriented.

My teaching approach is highly personalized. I assess each student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement before designing a learning plan. Whether a student is aiming for higher band scores, confidence in speaking, or accuracy in writing, I ensure focused attention and clear guidance throughout the learning process.

I conduct both home-based classroom sessions and online classes, making learning flexible and accessible. Even in online sessions, I pay close attention to individual progress and ensure that students remain engaged, motivated, and confident in their preparation.

Academically, I hold multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Commerce, and a Masters in Theology. This diverse educational background enables me to connect with learners from varied academic and professional fields.

I am fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Marathi, which helps me communicate effectively with students from different linguistic backgrounds. Clear communication and comfort in the classroom are priorities for me, as they play a major role in learning success.

My goal is not just to help students clear an exam, but to build strong, confident communicators who can perform well in academic, professional, and international environments.
