I am an English and social science tutor currently residing in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. I have been teaching for a year using a combination of active and passive teaching techniques. I have realized after teaching for a year that since English is not usually a thinking language in most parts of India, it becomes difficult for students to grasp concepts of science and social science with ease. Hence, a strong foundation in English is a must to not only learn English as a language but to understand other subjects as well. I ensure that the student practices the English language in all its forms—reading, writing, and speaking.
