What language is easier to learn, French or Spanish?

Spanish, because it is very close to the language of English & we can easily connect the language of Spanish with that of English, rather than translating.

Could some one suggest me the books ( syllabus) for C1 level in French.

je pratique is a good book, alter ego c1 , i think you should read newspaper and native stuff to be through with the exam plus various sites are having exercises. francais facile is also a good option
