Which instrument is easier to learn, the flute or clarinet?

This is Ashutosh mishra just a flautist.

It is easier to start to play flute. Why? The flute is less demanding physically, lighter than clarinet, has less complicated fingerings, and it doesn't have to rely on a reed to produce sound.

Professional Hindustani Singer , Flutist and Guitar teacher.

Flute is much easier then clarinet but these things Defer person to person ..as I have played both instruments and I teach flute I find out that holes of flute are less complicated.
