Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized institution. They must have majored in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in high school. The pupils must pass the entrance exam cut-off.

Aishhh.. You should divide your time equally in all the 3 subjects. Being an IITIAN I know not many hours are required. Atleast 9 hours a day is required for sound preparation. NCERT is a must as IIT examination...
