Can separate individual coachings in class 11 and 12 be effective for the preparation for IIT and other engineering entrance exams?

It actually depends on capability of individuals to cope with syllabus. But in my opinion you should go for it because these coachings will provide you a competitive climate where you will know your flaws in better way.
