Yes, playing drums produces notes, but they're different from the notes produced by other instruments: Rhythmic notes Drums produce rhythmic notes that are broken down into subdivisions and shown on a bar using a percussion clef. Different drums Notes on a drum staff usually indicate different drums, such as the snare, bass, kick, tom, or cymbal. Pitch The pitch of a drum depends on the tightness of its skin and the amount of air inside it. Tight skin produces a high note, while slack skin produces a low note. More air in the drum also produces a lower note. Tuning Drums don't usually need to be tuned to specific pitches, but they should be tuned to produce clear, full tones. Proper tuning can make even a beginner drum kit sound great. read less

Preliminary you can practice with online drums application available in Playstore, but it's obviously better if you buy it at least second hand for better learning. ð??? hope you like my answer.
