With a background in Java and Spring MVC, what are the things I need to learn to start working with C# and ASP.NET MVC in the quickest amount of time?

Since you have Java background learning C# will not be a big problem.C# is quiet similar to C++.MVC is the evolution of 3 tier Architecture.
