You should write the Database Code in the Data Access Layer. Hope that helps.

Microsoft Azure and .Net Trainer with total 12 years of exp

You can use 3 layer architecture for your simple application and can write database code to your dedicated DAL which is Data Access Layer. It is good idea to keep Database related operation separate.

Sr. Software Engineer (Also Part time trainer)

Asp.net page divide into two part one is aspx and another is aspx.cs .so u can write SQL code on cs file .but first you should have knowledge about ADO.net Programming .this is very basic database programming in asp.net
