ASPNET Core MVC: Build on top of .NET Core (Optionally can target Full .NET framework) Cross-platform, e.g. you can develop ASPNET Core web app on MAC and host on Linux servers (IIS is not must). Cloud ready, Azure is buildt in. MVC + Web API + Web Pages = ASPNET Core MVC Very fast (~4x of Nodejs) Has new project solution structure and inbuilt support for DI.
