How do I reply if the interviewer asked about my experience and projects on the MVC, WCF, and AngularJS, although I have 8 years of experience in ASP.NET?

Try to ask yourself what you want and stick with that. There will be global clients needing your help. No need to answer any such questions or go through interviews. If you can find someone who trusts you, that's more than enough. You need to get your respect for 8 years of experience and not go through any interview now. You are an architect now. Since, you must be a master by now after so much experience, MVC,WCF,Angular or ABCD must be easy for you to learn. I was in ASP.NET long back and had great success with SharePoint. As a trainer of various technologies, I feel that the same concepts are getting repeated in different names with lesser lines of code now.You can try to find out products which run on ASP.NET and go ahead and help them or learn new technologies only if you like. All these MVC,Angular will just come and go.Another option is to develop your own ASP.NET product and sell them.I still see that there are 1000s of needs for ASP.NET on job portals.If you want ASP.NET, try international jobs where your skills are valued. First whether you have knowledge on MVC, WCF, and AngularJS? If Yes, then convert any of your project in your resume to required technology and prepare yourself on the same and explain in the interview.

C# and ASP.Net are not much in demand now a days. Few projects which are in maintenance, you may get vacancies. Upgrade your skills to Angular would be a better idea.

what is difference b/w MVC .net and other ASP.NET
mvc is latest techonology, based on model view controller design pattern, whereas asp.net is based on event deriven programming language.
