Can an ASP.net 1.0 website be hosted on a Linux server after being open source?

Microsoft Azure and .Net Trainer with total 12 years of exp

I think it should be.. at least I am aware from Azure point of view.. If you have azure Linux subscription then you can deploy asp.net core web site there.
