What is the difference between XML and HTML?

Main Difference : HTML is used for presenting data ie it's main goal is to present data in a beautiful way, while XML is used to store and transport data ie it's main goal is to organize the data.

HTML,HTML 5 are the designing languages in web application which used to design UI in technically presentation layer (ual) where as XML are the languages to import/export data from (dal) and converting /importing documents data as a obj reference to store them and get them from database(logicallayer)
