I'm an engineering student, preparing for masters as well as civil services. I always had an outgoing personality, so interacting with people came very naturally to me. So I have always helped my classmates and friends in their studies. This is a point of confidence I come from. I believe students should be provided with a safe space where they can come out about their insecurities.
Studies do not happen in isolation. Teachers are not supposed to be unapproachable demigods, but someone they can open up to and feel heard. Students are trying out new things and if they do not perform well, it would be lazy and irresponsible of us as adults to not struggle with them in their problems. I believe students can change. We are not to pull them up through mechanised way of learning but reach to them and make them climb the ladder themselves, building confidence they need in future
