First of all, cellulose is biomolecules ( biomolecules means a substance which is essential for life). Now cellulose is a substance which is present in the plant cell wall and performs various function essential for life. Now let's know the structure of cellulose - it is a polysaccharide (poly means more than one, saccharides means sugar) means it is a substance made up of more than two sugars. As cellulose is composed of the plant cell wall, you easily understand that it helps in protection as plants are complex and have to survive in various climates.
Now the non-cellulosic wall is those wall which doesn't contain cellulose it has other polysaccharides like despite cellulose it has chitin in composition. This type of cell wall is found in fungi and uh know that fungi need a proper climate.
