"In case of a rotational motion (Rigid body Dynamics), we can always apply Newtan's laws of motion about an axis passing through the Center of Mass of body. Why? Why can't we always apply Newtans' laws of motion about an axis about which the rigid body happens to be in pure rotation? " in IIT JEE Coaching classes
One more thing if you want to apply newton's laws of motion in a non inertial frame then you need to apply an extra force named as pseudo force like the centrifugal force( as in case of circular motion... The inertial frame of refrence is frame which has no acceleration i.e if we consider a acceleratometre in that frame it shows zero reading...but in circular motion or rotational motion there may be constant speed rotation but the chance in direction of velocity results acceleration. Thank you
