If you are going to start early you are surely going to have extra edge over all the other competitors and you would be far ahead of them in this race. You would be the rabbit and they would be the tortoise. Here are the some genuine advice from me -

1.As you are now studying in ninth grade, I would recommend you to join foundation course of Aakash or Allen as this institutes have a well planned schedule for the next 4 years. They have weekly test on a regular basis. It will not only help in your AIIMS preparation but also in your 9th and 10th grade board exams.

2.Buy some foundation books like MTG or DISHA or PEARSON(only physics and chemistry of PEARSON as questions asked in AIIMS are quite tough and require strong concepts).At first you might think that the syllabus is vast but you will sooner get accustomed to it by frequent revisions.

3.Try to enhance your mental ability and question solving ability from the current grade as it will prove to be an important factor in your preparation. Always crave for more knowledgeable.

4. Remember during initial stages of preparation try to solve and read all the reference books you have from the first day of preparation. Don't be lazy and slob and never procastinate your study as it will pile up for tomorrow (speaking from personal experience).

5. As I am in 11 th right now I am too preparing for AIIMS 2020.The only thing we are frightened of during our preparation are the students from foundation courses as they are always trying to steal our All India ranking in test series.

6. Be disciplined and dedicated. Remember success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. The only thing we regret right now is that we should have been disciplined from the first day of preparation as the syllabus is now piling up in front of us.

7. Don't be overconfident during the preparation as it may lead to your loss. Never consider a test underrated and always try to perform in each and every test. Always try to be under AIR 100.

8.Always feel free to ask your teachers if you have any doubt in mind and watch YouTube or Khan academy videos to expand your coverage area.

9.Stay motivated. Watch and subscribe to Sandeep Maheshwari and stay inspired YouTube channels as this will provide pure and eternal inspiration

Finish the CBSE syllabus

Complete the syllabus as soon as possible so that most of your time is spent on revising the topics.

Keep doing revision

It is very important to revise the topics repeatedly. A student should not get over-confident if he/she has begun revising after completing the whole syllabus.

Don’t pressurize yourself

Study according to your capacity only. If you can’t study for 3 to 4 hours without taking any break, then divide the study time in equal intervals.
