Ask a Question
Give him rewards when he sits for 10 mins like this increase the time, he will start doing it.
Read to him aloud all the time. Read when you see words around you. Read signs in supermarkets, greetings cards, product packaging, book titles, magazines etc. They often have kids activities like live readings and song time. You can also let him loose a bit with the books. Let him pick up what he likes the look of and make a big fuss over whatever he brings to you. It doesn’t have to be what you think is ‘‘appropriate". The point is to get him comfortable around books and confident in choosing what he likes.
