historically tamil and sanskrit played well with each other. but it's shocking that sanskrit was not officially in the courts of few ancient northern kingdoms. in 19th century tamil declared an indipendent unique classical language, the conditions of sanskrit become pathetic.A structural conflict between indigenous Dravidian litrature and the elite, ritualistic language of sanskrit main causes become and also political acts escalated this rivalry.
