Tek Chand - UPSC Mentor. Remember: In UPSC Prep. Right Direction opens up the Gate of LBSNAA.

I teach and mentor students preparing for the UPSC examination, with my primary role focused on overall guidance and mentoring rather than teaching one specific subject. I have around 1 year of experience in mentoring UPSC aspirants and helping them understand the demands of the examination. My focus is on providing practical guidance, preparation strategies, study planning, and continuous support throughout the UPSC journey.

I understand that UPSC preparation requires consistency, planning, self-assessment, and the ability to manage a large amount of information over an extended period. I help students approach their preparation in a structured manner by identifying their current level, understanding their goals, and creating a study strategy that is realistic for them.

I have completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Geography. I am also preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, with Geography as my optional subject. My own preparation journey has given me an understanding of the examination process, the challenges aspirants face, and the importance of maintaining a consistent and well-planned preparation strategy.

I appeared for the UPSC CSE 2025 Mains examination, which has further strengthened my understanding of the examination and preparation process. Since I am also an aspirant, I can relate to many of the challenges students experience during their preparation. I use this experience to provide practical mentoring and help students approach their preparation with greater clarity.

My methodology begins with understanding the student’s current preparation level, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Based on this assessment, I help students develop structured weekly and monthly targets. I believe that having clear and achievable targets makes it easier for aspirants to track their preparation and maintain consistency over time.

My mentoring sessions are interactive and give students the opportunity to discuss their doubts, challenges, and progress openly. I focus on areas such as time management, revision strategy, answer writing, integration of current affairs, and regular self-assessment. I also track progress and provide practical feedback so that students can identify areas for improvement and continuously refine their preparation strategy.

My goal as a UPSC mentor is to help aspirants develop the right approach towards the examination rather than simply providing information. I want students to become more organized, consistent, and confident in their preparation. Through personalized mentoring, practical guidance, and regular progress tracking, I aim to support students throughout their UPSC journey and help them move towards their examination goals with greater clarity.
