There are 5 rules through which we can prove that two triangle are congruent or not: 1) SSS-means SIDE-SIDE-SIDE i.e, if two triangles have all three sides equal they are then congruent. 2) SAS-means SIDE -ANGLE-SIDE i.e, if two sides and angle they contained in between them are equal in two triangles... ...more
There are 5 rules through which we can prove that two triangle are congruent or not: 1) SSS-means SIDE-SIDE-SIDE i.e, if two triangles have all three sides equal they are then congruent. 2) SAS-means SIDE -ANGLE-SIDE i.e, if two sides and angle they contained in between them are equal in two triangles then also they are congruent. 3) ASA- means ANGLE-SIDE-ANGLE i.e, if two angles and side on which they are formed are equal then also triangles are congruent. 4) AAS- means ANGLE-ANGLE-SIDE i.e, if two angle and one of the sides of a triangle are equal to same in other triangle then also these triangles are congruent. 5) HL -Hypotenuse-Leg: this rule apply to only right angled triangles and according to it if in two right angled triangles if their hypotenuse and one of the sides (legs) are equal then also triangles are congruent.
