Smita J.

I am a dedicated TGT Social Science teacher with 12 years of experience working with students across school levels, primarily classes 6 to 10. I also have a strong background in CBSE evaluation and invigilation duties, which has strengthened my understanding of assessment standards in the academic process. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, critical thinking, active participation, and creating a supportive learning environment. Since I am a graduate in political science, sociology, and economics, I hold good subject knowledge. I am B.Ed and CTET qualified as well. I have a Master's in psychology, and having transitioned my role from TGT Social Science to a school counselor, I understand my students well and support them whenever required. I have also developed modules, curriculum, and pedagogy for my subject. My key skills are student-centered teaching, curriculum development, SEL module development for CBSE, board evaluation, effective communication, and individualized academic support.
