I have been teaching for 35 years in a CBSE English medium school run by a Church in South Delhi . I teach History & Sociology in classes XI & XII. I have also taught classes IX & X - HIstory I am a recipient of the State Teacher Award given by the Delhi State Government. I have been a Head Examiner for Class XII History Board examination conducted by CBSE for the last 5 years. Almost all my students get the A Grade in the Class XII board Examination in History and Sociology. I have written Books on History for the classes 6, 7 & 8 published by Rachna Sagar Publications. I have been taking online classes via zoom for the last one year due to the closure of the schools in Delhi. I keep my classes very interactive. I encourage my students to polish their life skills and to become self- motivated learners. I try to develop one to one bonding with my students and encourage them to voice their doubts and concerns freely.

I always go through the topics I plan to teach and try to find extra information on them.My aim is to generate genuine interest in the subject in the minds of the students so that their concepts are automatically clear .and the students do not resort to mere rote learning. I enjoy teaching and plan to be a life long teacher- learner.
