Saurav Goyal

I am a passionate law and economics educator with a strong interdisciplinary academic background, currently pursuing a PhD in Law and holding Master’s degrees in both Law and Economics. I am UGC-NET qualified in both disciplines and bring around five years of teaching experience, including two years of teaching Economics at the University of Delhi and a semester of teaching at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. My teaching philosophy goes beyond the conventional classroom approach of memorising concepts, theories, and formulae. I believe education should empower students with the confidence to ask questions, analyse problems independently, and develop a strong foundation for critical thinking. My approach combines conceptual clarity with real-world examples, contemporary issues, discussions, and interactive learning, enabling students to understand not merely what a concept is, but why it matters and how it can be applied. I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their ideas, challenging assumptions, and learning from their mistakes. I believe that learning should be intellectually stimulating as well as enjoyable. Whether teaching Law or Economics, my objective is to make complex concepts simple, relatable, and engaging while nurturing curiosity, analytical ability, and confidence. For me, successful teaching is not simply about preparing students for an examination; it is about equipping them with the knowledge, reasoning skills, and confidence to succeed beyond the classroom.
