"Saurabh Saxena Sir teaches compiler design with a level of clarity and depth that stands out — he doesn’t waste time on meaningless theory, he focuses on breaking down complex stages like parsing, code generation, and optimization so students actually understand how a real compiler works. He keeps classes structured and efficient, uses practical examples instead of textbook clichés, and makes you see how every phase connects in the full pipeline. The only catch is that he moves fast; if you’re not paying attention or you expect to be spoon-fed, you’ll get left behind. But if you want to learn compiler design properly, he’s easily one of the best — demanding, direct, and seriously knowledgeable. "

"I hired him to teach C++ to my son. He quoted me an hourly rate but insisted that I pay for the entire course upfront, which I did based on a preexisting course description he found off the internet. Once I paid in full after 5-7 classes, he did not teach well and started skipping over topics and having zero clue about some of the topics in the proposed syllabus. I also felt he does not have in-depth knowledge (sometimes incorrect) of many topics in the course guidelines he provided, and does not teach according to the syllabus provided. His course structure had 35 hours. Within that, two topics had 4 to 5 hours of planned time, which he just explained in a maximum of 1 hour each. He told me that some topics have more practical problems, but he hardly gave any assignments to practice. He barely gave any assignments even when asked to provide them. His knowledge in C++ is not up to the level one would expect based on what he charges per hour/course. We felt cheated and like we wasted our money, and my son wasted time with him. His teaching was more theoretical. He would abruptly end the lecture if Zoom time ran out, and communication was poor. He ignored my son's comments about teaching him specific topics until it was escalated to me, and he took week-long vacations during the course. He is also not at all good at taking feedback from students or parents. When I insisted on talking to him, he avoided me 3-4 times and would only chat with me. Towards the end, it was very rushed, covering a few hours' worth of syllabus in less than an hour with poor detail. Overall, his teaching quality and professionalism did not match his pricing, and I would not recommend him to other parents. "

We cover the contents as per syllabus of DSA with C++ and we started for same with the fees agreed. Later on you start saying to cover C++ language as your son was not week in C++ language itself. I focused on C++ concepts also and didnt charge any extra fee for that. Moreover several times I scheduled the class and wait for him to join but he didnt and says sorry afterwards wasting my time in waiting him to join. After all these I covered all the topics and he understood all the stuff, as he told me.
