➢ Hands-on experience with L2 switches and L3 switches.
➢ Experience in Troubleshooting, analyzing the logs and providing root causes for router/switches down issues and conclusions to resolve issues.
➢ Replication of the customer issue in LAB
➢ Working with Layer 3 protocols OSPF, RIP, BGP, MPLS
➢ Working with Layer 2 protocols STP, VRRP, LLDP, VLAN, MAC, ARP, LACP
➢ VMWare, GNS3, Packet Tracer, ClearPass, OV2500, Virtualization
➢ Network planning, building or maintenance
➢ Upgrading the Alcatel switches
➢ Discovering and monitoring the devices in NMS (OV2500)
➢ Authentication of the devices in the Clear Pass server
➢ Troubleshooting in the Live Environment of the customer
➢ Writing ACL for traffic filtering
➢ Ensure proper updates are made to the tool used (SalesForce)
➢ Inter VLAN routing using 802.1Q
➢ Provide Level II technical support for enterprise customers of Alcatel-Lucent for devices
➢ Handling Priority cases and resolving them within limited time and providing updates to Customer and higher management within time limits along with proper explanation.
➢ Working on complex problems requiring in-depth fault analysis and troubleshooting skills
➢ Hands on experience on Clear pass and OV2500 for network
➢ Debugging and analyzing the logs of the switches based on the issues.
