"Score=7.5 (R:7.5; L:8.5; W:6.5; S:7.5). Samit identifies the strength and weakness of students quickly and start working on those. To mention a few positive aspects to be considered are.1. Analytical approach 2. Custom study material. 3. Personalized classes. 4.Flexible schedule 5. Persuasive. 6. Strong focus on reading- (as general and academic have different bands) He ensures you get the desired scores. Good luck with your preparation."

"How many teachers here employ caning as a punishment method? I have read both pros and cons. What's your take? Is it needed at times or completely unnecessary?" in   Tuition, Tuition/Class VI-VIII Tuition, Tuition/Class IX-X Tuition, More... Tuition/Class I-V Tuition Tuition/Class XI-XII Tuition (PUC)

Your question touches upon a more fundamental issue - how should we ensure that Teachers are respected. Let's not be too idealistic about it. Just as students need to be "nurtured", teachers also need to be given the respect due to them. If some teachers wrongly employ corporal punishment, there are also examples of students who insult many hapless teachers. Whether we like it or not, all students are not "soft hearted", innocent etc etc. Caning is not the way out of this. But it is crucial to ensure that the students understand that they must maintain discipline else they will have to face some type of punishment. Fall in line or face the consequences. Freedom does not mean freedom to run riot and having fun does not mean having fun at the expense of others - including those who are trying to make you into a decent and successful human being in the future As I said, it is not something that can be easily answered.

"What is the minimum questions to get right to get a score of 65 or 79 in PTE exam?" in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/PTE Academic Exam Coaching

Hi, as everyone on the forum has pointed out, you got to do good in every aspect of the test in order to get a 79 in each module - Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. However, there are some guidelines: - Speaking: everything except Answer Short Questions. Reading: Reorder Paragraphs have the maximum weightage. The Multiple Choice questions are also important. Writing: Essay has double the weightage compared to Summarize Written Text Listening: Write from dictation you can score very high and therefore important These you should ace in the test. But for a very high score you got to do good in EVERY type of questoins

"I want to know how much minimum time is required to prepare for International English Language Testing System to get a band of 7.5. My English is average though I can write and talk in English quite confidently." in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/IELTS Coaching

Well, it takes sustained and regular practice of around 2 hours at least per day. The ideal duration is between 45 and 50 hours, depending on how fast you pick up the concepts. You should devote about 20 hours to understanding the concepts very well of all the modules - you know, what the are question types, how to attempt them etc. The remaining 25-30 hours should be devoted to developing accuracy first and then speed. Prepare a schedule preparing exactly what you have to do each day. And then stick to it, come what may. Check your answers and - this is where it is so important - analyse why and where you went wrong. Make sure you understand the nature of your errors well. And don't repeat them. All the best.

"Hi, just wanted to know about IELTS exams, how should I clear with good grades in one go. Cause I'm thinking to go london for doing makeup course. Also help me out with good makeup school in london." in   Exam Coaching/Foreign Education Exam Coaching/IELTS Coaching

I am late as usual IELTS is not that tough an exam. Its not a walkover either. You require a disciplined regimen stretching over at least a 1.5 month period. You need to practice around 1.5 - 2 hours a day. This regularity is more important than cramming it all in a few very long sessions. Cambridge papers, as well as the British Council or IDP book which would have been given to you when you booked your exam date - this much material is sufficient for Reading and Listening. Do them regularly, not two or three of them in one sitting. One per day is good. Mark yourself. See what is your score on a daily basis. You got to achieve a kind of consistency. Ignore the very good and/or the very poor performance. Speaking - there are tons of materials online. Go through the sample questions and try to answer them mentally. Don't prep yourself. Just make sure that you wont be caught unawares. As far as writing is concerned, go through the format available online and then just write a few letters and essays.
