I teach Mathematics to Class 10 students and have been associated with the field of education for over 37 years. Teaching has been a lifelong journey for me, and even after my formal retirement, I chose to continue mentoring students because of my deep passion for the subject. Mathematics, when taught with clarity and patience, can become an enjoyable and confidence-building subject, and that belief drives my teaching every day.

I hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). While I may not have pursued formal teaching certifications specifically in Mathematics, my decades of classroom experience have given me strong practical expertise in explaining concepts in a simple, logical, and relatable manner. Over the years, I have learned that real learning happens when students truly understand the “why” behind a concept, not just the formula.

My teaching journey has been extremely rewarding, especially while working with Class 10 students who often face pressure and anxiety around Mathematics. I take great satisfaction in helping students overcome their fear of the subject, strengthen their fundamentals, and approach exams with confidence. Watching students improve steadily and achieve good results has always been the most fulfilling part of my career.

After retirement, continuing to teach has been a joyful and purposeful experience. It allows me to stay connected with young learners and share the insights I have gained over decades of teaching. I enjoy guiding students not just academically, but also in developing discipline, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude toward learning.

I follow a structured lesson plan for every class to ensure that all topics are covered in a systematic and organized manner. My sessions are interactive, and I actively encourage students to ask questions and participate in problem-solving during the class. I believe Mathematics becomes easier when students are involved in the thinking process rather than passively listening.

My teaching approach combines clear explanations with practical examples, step-by-step problem solving, and regular practice. I adjust the pace of teaching based on each student’s learning needs, ensuring that concepts are understood thoroughly before moving ahead. I use PPTs and a whiteboard to make explanations clearer and more engaging, and I also provide supporting materials to help students revise and practice effectively.

Through both online and offline classes, my goal remains the same—to build a strong mathematical foundation, boost confidence, and help students perform to the best of their abilities in Class 10 Mathematics and beyond.
