You can always try the conventional methods of learning (studying), apart from that their are "N" number of fun ways to improve your English language. Assuming that you also are not in fluent in speaking. I would recommend the following things to try on and see observe the difference after at least 2 weeks:
1. Whenever possible, speak in English. Think in English (try this).
2. Try calling to various call centres and talk to them in English.
3. Watch web/Tv content in English. It will surely help you with the tenses and the adverbs part.
Once you are doing this, you will surely see progressive changes. Again, in the end, you have to pick the book, but the steps I suggested will surely help you in a fun way.
