I am Rajat Dhingra, a passionate Vocal Music teacher specializing in Hindustani Classical Music, with over 7 years of teaching experience. Music has always been an integral part of my life, and I take immense pride in sharing this beautiful art form with students of all ages and skill levels. Through UrbanPro, I have had the opportunity to train beginners as well as advanced learners, helping them grow steadily in their musical journey.

I hold a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Statistics and a Master of Arts (M.A.), along with Visharad in Hindustani Classical Music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. My formal training in music has provided me with a strong foundation in both the practical and theoretical aspects of Hindustani Classical Music. This structured learning allows me to teach with clarity, discipline, and authenticity.

Over the years, I have had a truly fulfilling experience as a teacher. Working with students who come from diverse backgrounds and possess different learning abilities has helped me develop patience and adaptability. The most rewarding part of my journey has been witnessing my students gain confidence, refine their voice, and develop a deeper understanding of music.

I focus on building strong fundamentals in swar, laya, and raga development. My teaching approach emphasizes proper voice culture, breath control, pronunciation, and consistent riyaaz. I believe that regular practice combined with correct guidance is the key to mastering Hindustani Classical Music.

I have also actively participated in various national-level and state-level music competitions, where I received recognition and awards. These experiences have given me valuable stage exposure and strengthened my performance skills. They have also shaped my teaching methodology, as I guide students not only for exams but also for confident stage performances.

I prepare students for certification examinations conducted by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. I carefully guide them through the prescribed syllabus, including both practical and theory components, ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared for their exams. My goal is to help students achieve strong results while truly understanding the essence of the music they learn.

I conduct both online and offline classes, providing flexibility and convenience to students. Whether learning from home or in person, I ensure that every session is interactive, disciplined, and focused on steady progress.

For me, teaching music is not just about training voices—it is about nurturing dedication, patience, and a lifelong love for classical music. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students can explore their potential and grow into confident performers.
