Neelam S. - Teaching students for 20 years

I teach Spoken English and have around 20 years of experience in teaching and training students. Over the years, I have worked with learners from different age groups and levels and have focused on helping them improve their communication skills, fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking English. I enjoy helping students become more comfortable using English in everyday and academic situations.

I have completed NTT, D.El.Ed., and B.Ed., along with additional training related to teaching and education. My educational background has helped me develop a strong understanding of teaching methods and student learning needs. It has also given me the foundation to create lessons that are structured while still being flexible enough to suit individual learners.

My teaching experience has been very rewarding. Having worked with students at different learning levels, I understand that every learner has different strengths, challenges, and goals. Some students may need more support with pronunciation, while others may want to improve fluency, vocabulary, sentence formation, or confidence while speaking. I try to identify these requirements and adapt my teaching accordingly.

I follow a well-structured lesson plan for each class. My sessions generally include explanation, practice, interaction, and activities so that students get opportunities to use what they learn. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and practise speaking during the class rather than limiting their learning to theoretical explanations.

I place strong importance on speaking practice and communication. I encourage students to express themselves, form sentences, and communicate their thoughts in English. Through regular practice and constructive feedback, I help them become more comfortable with the language. I also adjust the pace and level of the lessons according to the student's current ability and learning goals.

I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard during my classes to support explanations and organise lessons effectively. These tools help me present vocabulary, sentence structures, pronunciation points, and other important concepts in a clear manner. I combine these resources with interactive activities and speaking practice to keep the sessions engaging.

I offer both online and offline Spoken English classes and aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can practise without hesitation. My goal is to help learners improve their fluency, pronunciation, communication skills, and confidence step by step. With my years of teaching experience, I focus on providing patient guidance and consistent practice so that students can make meaningful progress in their English communication.
