Overview

I am a 67 year old retired Mathematics teacher with more than 40 years teaching experience at secondary level with CBSE curriculum. I retired in 2016. Since then I have been teaching Class 9&10 students on contractual basis till 2022. Simultaneously I was tutoring mainly ckass 10 students at home/ online/ hybrid. My forte is rigorous training of students with emphasis on basic concepts which would enable them to independently tackle problems without hand holding. I make it a point to elicit answers from the students instead of giving it to them. I prefer to teach one student at a time or two at the most.
My qualification is MA History BSc .BEd( Maths and Physical Sciences as method subjects) I have been teaching since 1977.
Graduation and Bachelors in Education from University of Calcutta
Masters in History from Annamalai University.
I have a Master training certificate from Intel . I am proficient with the usage of MS Office. I am familiar with the usage of Zoom ,Team and Skype in the context of teaching though I can make use of some initial training in this platform.

I taught class 8 along with classes 9&10 when I was a teacher in School. Subsequently vI had students who would choose to be tutored by me in class 8 to strengthen their basics and then they continued to study with me in 9&10 th too. My present student also has similar plans. It is advisable to be coached by a teacher who can teach all three ckasses
