Kapil Gehlot

As an art enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata and a Master's degree in Fine Arts in Painting from the School of Art and Communication, University of Hyderabad, I have always been passionate about art and sharing my knowledge with others. With over six years of teaching experience, I have worked with diverse students, including over fifty students with different abilities, at an NGO in Kolkata, where I would travel to their locations to provide art education. One of the highlights of my career was when my artwork was displayed at the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad during my final year in Fine Arts. I have also had the privilege of attending workshops organised by the Goethe Institute in Kolkata and participating in Imami Arts programs.
I am dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for my students, where they feel encouraged and motivated to explore their creative potential. As an art educator, I offer both online and offline classes, including one-on-one instruction, to cater to my students' unique needs and preferences. My classes cover various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital painting, acrylics, and watercolour painting.
I believe in providing a holistic approach to art education, starting with practical and theory classes encompassing art history, mediums, and techniques. I provide comprehensive notes for my students to aid them in understanding the theoretical aspects of art and the methods and materials used in creating artwork. I strive to make my classes engaging and interactive, incorporating hands-on activities, demonstrations, and discussions to facilitate learning. I also encourage my students to express their unique artistic styles and perspectives while providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills.
My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a love for art, developing critical thinking skills, and nurturing creativity in my students. I am committed to helping my students build a strong foundation in art and providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to pursue their artistic aspirations. Whether through traditional or digital mediums, I am passionate about equipping my students with the skills and confidence to create meaningful and impactful artwork.
