I teach Social Studies to Class 10 students on UrbanPro and have 5 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have worked with students to help them understand Social Studies concepts clearly, prepare effectively for examinations, and improve their overall academic performance. My aim is to make the subject simple, engaging, and easier for students to learn and remember.

I have completed a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW/B.A. in Social Work) and have also received training relevant to teaching Social Studies. My academic background has helped me develop an understanding of social sciences and the different areas that students study as part of Social Studies. I use this knowledge to create lessons that are structured and focused on clear conceptual understanding.

My teaching approach is centred around simplifying concepts for students. Social Studies includes a wide range of topics, and I believe students learn better when information is explained in an organised and relatable manner. I break down complex topics into smaller sections and use examples wherever appropriate so that students can understand the subject instead of relying only on memorisation.

I follow a structured lesson plan for my classes and conduct interactive sessions to keep students actively involved. I encourage students to ask questions, participate during discussions, and clarify their doubts. Regular interaction helps me understand whether students are comfortable with a topic and allows me to provide additional explanations wherever required.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PowerPoint presentations and a whiteboard as part of my teaching methodology. Presentations help me organise important information, while the whiteboard allows me to explain concepts, create structured notes, and work through questions step by step. I use these tools to make lessons more visually organised and easier to follow.

With 5 years of teaching experience, I understand the importance of combining conceptual learning with consistent examination preparation. I help students focus on understanding important topics, revising regularly, practising questions, and improving the way they present their answers. I also pay attention to areas where individual students may need additional support.

My goal is to help Class 10 students become more confident in Social Studies and approach their examinations with better preparation. I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, understand concepts clearly, and steadily improve their academic performance through structured learning and regular practice.
