Gaurav Shridhar

Gaurav Shridhar hails from a family of dancers belonging to Jaipur Gharana. Gaurav started
his training since childhood from his grandfather Pt. Baijnath Shridhar. Later he took
professional training from his Guru Pt. Abhimanyu Lal and Pt. Rajendra Kumar Gangani in
Kathak Kendra, New Delhi where he completed his Diploma Pass Course and is currently
undergoing his training for Degree of Honours in Dance and Music. Gaurav is considered as
promising young performer in Kathak today. He has performed in Solo and Choreographies.
He has also been invited to dance with different kathak artists to perform their choreographies,
prominent of them are:

♦ Pt. Abhimanyu Lal
♦ Pt. Harish Gangani and Many more

The Tableau for UP attained 2nd position on Independence Day under the Gaurav’s guidance.
