Interphase has three phases in itself:
1.G1 phase pr Gap 1 phase where cell prepares for division by growing in size, synthesising proteins and all
2. S or synthetic phase is the phase where the DNA replication occurs and the amount of DNA doubles.
3. G2 or Gap 2 phase wherecell continue to grow and organelles duplicates.
Then comes the M phase pr mitotic phase which is further divided into four stages:
1. Prophase where chromatin condensation occurs and chromosome began to appear. The mitotic spindle also starts to form and nuclear envelope breaks down.
2. Metaphase where chromosomes align in center of cell (metaphase plate) with the help of spindle fibres originating from mitotic spindle
3. Anaphase where sister chromatids are separated and pulled apart to opposite poles
4. Telophase where chromosomes decondense to form fibres and nuclear envelope began to form.
