I am an accomplished Kathak dancer and educator with over 10 years of dedicated experience. My training in Kathak began under the guidance of renowned gurus Dr. Jyoti Bharti Goswami Ji and Malti Shyam ji, following the traditional Guru Shishya Parampara. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Performing Arts in Kathak from Tecnia Institute of Art and Design, Delhi, and hold Visharad and Nipun degrees in Kathak. My commitment to Kathak is reflected in my extensive training and academic pursuits.
My performance experience includes appearances at prestigious events and venues, both nationally and internationally. I recently performed at Deepotsav, Ayodhya and IIFA and even for dignitaries like the President of India and the Prime Minister. These performances showcase my mastery of Kathak and my ability to connect with diverse audiences.
In addition to performing, I have over 4-5 years of experience teaching Kathak online and in 2023 have completed a Teacher Training Course (TTC) with Kafqa Academy . I am skilled in creating engaging online learning environments and have also conducted in-person workshops. My passion for education is matched by my performance achievements, demonstrating my versatility in the field of Kathak.
My dedication to Kathak has been recognized through numerous awards and scholarships, including the CTSSS Scholarship in Kathak Dance from CCRT, New Delhi, the Young Artist Scholarship in Kathak Dance from the Ministry of Culture and CCRT, New Delhi, and the Yuva Purskar in Kathak Dance by Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi, Jodhpur. I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to new opportunities.
