Experience in School or College
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Research Honors and working as a Teaching Assistant at my university ( currently in my 3rd year). Alongside my degree, I actively teach a course on Qualitative Research in Psychology, with a specific focus on ethnographic methods. I conduct lectures and interactive sessions with students four times a week, where I guide them through core concepts, discussions, and applied activities. Teaching while studying has been a deeply enriching experience for me. It has strengthened my ability to communicate complex psychological concepts in a clear, engaging, and studentfriendly manner. I enjoy being present in the classroom, facilitating discussions, encouraging curiosity, and creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and thinking critically. My teaching style is highly interactive and learner-centered. I incorporate visual aids, real-life examples, guided discussions, and hands-on activities to support different learning styles...visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved, so I often use questioning techniques, small activities, and reflective exercises to make learning meaningful and memorable. Academically, I have consistently performed at a high level. I was a subject topper in Psychology in both 11th and 12th grade, for which I received an academic award. I am also a Dean’s List recipient, having achieved a perfect 8.0/8.0 CGPA in my previous two semesters. I will be pursuing my undergraduate dissertation next year, further strengthening my research foundation. I genuinely enjoy teaching and see it as more than a role..it is a longterm aspiration. I aim to grow as an educator, researcher, and future professor, and teaching online would allow me to extend my passion for psychology education to a wider group of learners while continuing to develop my academic and teaching skills .
