The name ?Mrityunjaya? literally implies conquering over all that is mortal. Yoga as a science empowers one to reach to a stage to be able to conquer the mortal aspects of life & experience a holistically profound life. With the idea starting a wellness organization we wished to empower all individuals with the true Yoga-power enabling them to experience well-being in totality.

Universal Yoga Group was set up in the year 2005, as an organization to serve humanity and promote the significance of ancient techniques of breathing exercise, meditation to help the sufferers. We provide scientific Yoga training and therapy, training to Yoga teachers and overall helps people to restore the balance of the three essential elements, mentioned above. We have stepped forward to bring a positive change in condition and lifestyle of Corporate, Institutions and other spheres where stress has overcome the response and immunity of life.

It firmly believes in Bharatiya cultural heritage and aims to re-establish by protecting and preserving it. It draws its inspiration from the lofty human ideals of Bharatiya culture viz 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' - Entire Universe Is Our Family and 'Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu', 'Sarve Bhaventu Sukhina' - may all be happy, may all being rejoice in joy and happiness and the like as 'Live 'N' Liven' - may all live for the service of humanity and inspire others to live in the service of Almighty. To fulfill this aim Sansthan has chosen Yog as its means.

The Mother Madame Mirra Alfassa, the Mother or SriMa, as she was known, was born and educated in France. She began to have psychic and spiritual experiences at a very early age. She grew up to become an accomplished painter and musician. In 1906 and 1907 the Mother voyaged to Tlemcen, Algeria, where she studied occultism with Max Theon
