Ankita D. - A Teacher Building Strong Foundation for Concept Learning Instead of Marks

I am an experienced educator with around 15 years of teaching experience, working with students from Class 1 to Class 7. I teach all subjects and focus on helping students develop strong academic fundamentals from an early stage. Over the years, I have worked with students with different learning levels and abilities, and I enjoy helping them understand concepts clearly, improve their academic performance, and become more confident in their studies.

I have completed my B.Com and M.A. in English (Honours). My academic background, combined with my extensive teaching experience, has helped me develop strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills. I use my understanding of different subjects and my experience with school students to explain topics in a way that is simple, clear, and appropriate for the student's age and level of understanding.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and student-friendly. I prepare a lesson plan for each class based on the topics that need to be covered and the student's learning requirements. I explain concepts step by step and make sure students are able to follow the lesson before moving ahead. I encourage them to ask questions and participate actively so that they can develop a deeper understanding rather than simply memorizing information.

Since I teach students across Classes 1 to 7, I understand that children at different ages require different teaching approaches. With younger students, I focus particularly on building strong fundamentals and keeping lessons engaging. For older students, I place greater emphasis on conceptual clarity, practice, and developing the ability to apply what they have learned. I adjust my pace and explanations according to each student's individual needs.

I like to include puzzles, activities, practical examples, and questions wherever appropriate to make lessons more interesting. These activities help students stay engaged while also encouraging them to think independently and apply their knowledge. I believe that learning becomes more effective when students are actively involved in the process rather than simply listening to explanations throughout the class.

I provide both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to support my teaching. I regularly interact with students during lessons and observe their responses to understand which areas require additional attention. I also encourage regular practice and revision so that students can strengthen their understanding and gradually become more independent in their studies.

Teaching has been a very rewarding journey for me over the past 15 years. I enjoy working with students, understanding their learning needs, and seeing them make progress in their academics. My goal is to provide consistent guidance, build strong subject fundamentals, and create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their abilities, and gaining confidence in their studies.
