I like to teach and I have been involved in this activity for a while now (~3 years). Having gone through rigorous preparation for various engineering examinations/boards, I had a good idea about the difficulties, doubts, which concepts/areas to focus more, etc.
My experiences with students have taught me a lot, like how each student has different capabilities, learning rates, etc. Over time, I have become more patient with them and have observed that it helps them learn better. My objective always remains to provide the best possible understanding of the subjects to my students.
I try to identify the needs of the student and teach him/her accordingly, which yield best results. Sometimes, students don't need a teacher but a friend to counsel them and I try to establish that bond with them, which helps me to guide them effectively. In short, I come prepared and try to deliver the best.
