What you are saying is basically your child lacks the attention span, and since he's very young, he gets easily distracted by things. What you can do is find things that he's actually interested in and then let him figure that out in a planned way where he doesn't get discouraged by the failure or loses its interest due to the level of ease in it. A planned stepwise approach can make your child develop a keen interest in that subject or activity, which can help in the long term.
