Akash Bhattacharya

As a dedicated and enthusiastic educator, my journey has been defined by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a passion for teaching. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, I graduated with a B. Tech degree from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Since then, I have ventured into the realm of civil services coaching, where I have discovered my true calling - nurturing the aspirations of future leaders.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of associating with esteemed institutions such as ALS IAS, Chanakya IAS Academy, Sleepy Classes, Sunya IAS, PW-Only IAS, IAS Corridor, and TIME Institute. In these roles as an Associate Faculty member, I have delivered engaging and effective lectures on a wide range of subjects, including Polity, Science & Technology, Ethics, Social Justice, Essay Writing, Disaster Management, and more.
My pedagogy is centred around a theme-based approach combined with mind maps and contemporary issues to reinforce core concepts. I employ different techniques such as Essay Technology to help students explore various dimensions and interlink current affairs across the GS syllabus for a comprehensive understanding. To empower students for answer-writing in mains examinations, I emphasize breakdowns of case study analysis, provide structured arguments through previous year's questions' discussions, and adopt a "bird-eye view" strategy to strengthen their command over the subject matter. As a lifelong learner myself, I am committed to continuously expanding my horizon of experiences and embracing new opportunities to evolve both personally and professionally. My journey in education has taught me the value of adaptability, resilience, and the boundless potential of human growth. I am excited to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and contribute to the collective development of our society and nation.
